The Cabochon is like the London Bridge. It is falling down. Not to mention the wall around Lake Carolyn which is a disaster waiting to happen. It is shifting close to an inch a month in some places (by the Indian restaurant). The leaking roofs have cause mold form in most units. Elevators rarely work. The place is crumbling. However......I lived at the Cabochon for 6 years, moved away for 2, then came back. For the $$ it's not so bad. The catch is....to be very, very particular when choosing your unit. Stay away from stairwells, entrances, top floors, pools, parking garages, management, maintenance.... I know, there is not alot left. The fishing is good....if something breaks...fix it with a part from an empty unit. There are usually plenty of those. Park in a high traffic area. Cross your fingers.
