I will be moving as soon as my lease is up, This was my 3 year lease. The only reason I stayed this long is because I hate to move and the staff and Maintenance are good and nice but that is not enough. The place is old I read some reviews and had to say something one said just move in and loving the stainless steal apliances damn mine are 20 years old and crap, and when the washing machine and dryer went out if I wanted a nice one my rent would go up $25 a month, then when they changed to 2" window blinds in a lot of the apartment I asked if mine would be changed out yes if I wanted to pay extra $50.00. Then my biggest problem is section 8 unemployed crap who's bright thought was this, the people above me are loud all night they stand right outside by my bedroom windows and shout at each other till 3am in the morning there piece of crap cars take all the front parking place's and sence they don't work there always there and if you do get to park next to them watch out for the f ing door dings to your new car. almost $700.00 a month for this I think not.

My comments:
When I lived there, the late night parking lot issues had just begun. Once, in the middle of the night, I had to go outside and ask some people to be quiet and turn off their headlights as they were shining in my bedroom window.
As for roaches, I never had a problem with bugs.
I avoided door dings by getting a carport. My spot was on the end and fortunately the next carport over was empty.
I never had stainless steel appliances. Mine were also 20 years old and washer/dryer were junk.
I paid $695 per month for a one bedroom with carport on an 11 month lease.

Oh, okay, that was my main concern. because now im at silverbook apts which is a sister property in arlington and little did i know, this is a really bad area and my apt is roach ridden. i mean to the point where i have a can of raid within reach in EVERY room of the apt (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room) and i cant even sleep because ive now seen them in my bed and one actually crawled on me. So i checked out Casa Valley since im working in that area and both complexes have agreed to let me transfer my lease so i move in the first week of november. and yea, the apt that im gettin in totally upgraded: stainless steel appliances, new fixtures and counters in the bathroom and kitchen, the new blinds, and the floors. The washer and dryer is stackable but it looks fine to me. And i know it didnt seem fair to you, but you DO have to pay for the upgrades and thats reflected in the rent and thats the same for any apt complex. upgrades cost. even the ------ apt im in now, the rent is 575 but it would be lower if i didnt have the all black appliances, granite counters, and wood floors. but casa valley seems nice and donna was really helpful, so as long as there are no roach and other pest problems, i think i'll be happy!
