Nothing special anymore...

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2004
I have lived here for many years. If it weren't for the wonderful neighbors and friends that have lived in our little area, I would have moved ages ago. We've seen apartment staff come and go, and I believe most residents with any longevity here would agree that the complex is poorly managed. The staff are generally attitudinal unresponsive. I've lived in complexes before where the staff seemed to enjoy living and working there. I don't get that feeling here.
The apartments are aging and getting musty. The prices have steadily increased despite the deterioration in security and apartment quality. I believe this will be our last year here unless a dramatic change in management is made.
To those who are questioning the use of anonymity in posting, such as mine, it is because we are aware of the staff monitorings and postings that go up here. I think those of us who live here know the nature of the staff, and know that it is not in our best interest to publicly announce their poor performance. I think we can all see the argumentative (and staff-like) tones of many postings in support of Chaparral.
Perhaps one of these years, the little "October Satisfaction Surveys" will actually be respected and answered with a sound security system, fresh management and responsive staff. Though a few exercise classes are much less expensive to the complex, it's not going to be enough to gain the support of their residents.
