Bad Rep in Las Colinas

The place has burned down several times and they had a rodent problem. They try to control it--tour the property--there are rat traps all over the place. Anyway it never helped. I finally had enough of the rats and left. Management will add to the stress of your life. They have an "us against them" mentality. The place also carries a reputation in the Las Colinas area...and not a good one. I'm not just talking about the citizens of Las Colinas--I mean police. Look, there were gunshots--check police records, if that's possible. Anyone reading this has been warned--take it or leave it. I was ashamed to say I lived at Chaparral Creek.

There are rodents because of all the creeks/ponds. At least it's under control. It's not a secret there were 2 fires-idiot!

I have been living here for over a year now and have never seen a rat, and nothing has burned down. My last apartment complex had a fire, but hey things happen, and I wouldn't hold it against them. The staff has always been extreamly nice as well. I am sorry if you had a bad experience, but that doesn't speak for all of us.

LOL... gunshots? that's funny! I'm sorry i've been resident here now for 15 years and i've never heard any gunshots... but i have to give it to you, that's creative. Also has burned down SEVERAL? times??? Try 2 buildings burned down but you know that could happen anywhere. It doens't mean that this is a bad property to live in what so ever. For any viewers that's reading this i just wanted to say that this is an excellent place to live and I highly recommend Chaparral Creek to everyone looking for an apartment. The person who wrote this probably got evicted or something and is just blowing off steam.

Um. Okay. I get it now. Since we can blame Chaparral Creek for the fires then we can blame Rebecca Miller for the weather . . . right? (I realized I may need to explain that - she's a weather personality on Channel 5 news.)
