I have lived at Chaparral Creek for 1 year. When I first moved in I had an apartment on the ground floor by the pond. It rained alot and I had SEVERE issues with mold. I honestly thought I was going to die from it, it was so bad. I had gone to the apartments with photos and a letter from my Doctor and they did not give me a hard time at all. They let me pick any apartment to move to for the same rent cost and they even paid for my movers. They made sure the new apartment was in excellent condition before I moved in. The staff is nice and all of my service requests but one have been taken care of the same day. The grounds are very pretty, the location is PERFECT and I get along with ALL of my neighbors but one. It is a dog owners haven. There is a HUGE issue with people who own larger dogs not picking up their dogs feces. That is honestly the only complaint I could really come up with. I love my apartment. The only reason why I would plan to leave is to find a place with a yard for my small dog. If they had that I would stay for a VERY long time. Never had any issues with parking or noise and feel safer at this community over any other EVER.
From talking to neighbors, I think it depends on the building you get in. Tennants in the older building seem to HATE IT and have alot of issues. I did too when I first moved in. So make sure to look only in the newer buildings. You can tell from the air conditioners. The old buildings have them built into the buildings. The newer buidings have the units outside on the ground. That's my only advise. Honestly...GREAT GREAT GREAT place overall.

The staff is rude. They try to discourage people of certain ethnic groups from moving in by being rude. They carry out ethnic cleansing of the complex. They will never be nice to people of those ethnic groups they don't like, even if they decide to move in. I bet all the people that complain are people that were targeted due to their race. Why? to get them to leave.
