I'm going on my third year here at Chap Creek. I LOVE my apartment & I love the landscaping. That is why I stay. However, the maint staff is AWFUL. They have yet to fix something right the first time. My A/C was broken in the summer my first year & my A/C bill was $400.00 a month. I called them out on a regular basis & they would never replace the 20 yr old A/C Unit. They just kept adding freeon & burning out the compressor. It is a gurantee that they will leave a mess behind- you'll definatley know they've been there. The leasing staff never returns calls or gets the maint request correct.My rent has gone up $100.00 over 3 lease renewals. Right now I am paying $755.00 for a one bedroom apartment. When I first moved in it was $640.00 with all the upgrades. If I were to come in as a new resident today, I'd be paying $701.00 w/ all the upgrades. I feel like they should appreciate the fact that I keep renewing my lease & quit raising the rent.They are not very loyal to their residents. At some point some maint crew came out and left big huge orange cones all around my apartment. I kept putting them out for the trash & no one ever picked them up. That was about 6 months ago....they are still there. If you drive by building 1 & 2, you will see them still there today. I would recommend the apartments only because of the size and the scenery. Just hope & Pray you never need to contact maint or the leasing staff.

As a 7 year resident of Chaparral Creek and 30-year resident of apartments overall, I feel qualified to respond to this negative review. Maintenance staff responsiveness is excellent! They are prompt, polite and neat. I have never experienced the poor service as described in this review. The office staff has changed over time but I think every effort is made to hire qualified personnel with high standards for customer service. I also think our security officer is very prompt and professional. All in all Chaparral Creek is a great place to live.

As a person who has lived in apartments for 10 years, and visited quite a lot, I can say that the leasing staff at this place is extremely Rude. But the apartments are nice. Place looks well maintained. Can't pay me to stay here. If they are rude before signing the lease, how much more rude will they be after signing the lease???

I moved in recently, so I am new to the complex and apt living since 30 years. However I like my apartment. The space is great and the staff is great too, they have always taken care of things to this date. The only thing I am watching is the electric bills. They seem higher than what I thought they would be. But overall I am pleased, and I plan to stay for a while....
