Colony Apartments

Did not personally like my experience here From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/22/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   This place started off ok and then about a month into my lease I started having lots of problems. Some of the neighbors were nice but some were just mean and unfriendly. The units are older and not everything works properly. I experienced a horrible roach and bug problem in these apartments which was responded to by management but they were unable to keep the bugs out either. The maintenance could have been better. You may have to put in multiple requests before they actually fix something properly. My air conditioner went out midway thru the summer. I thought it may be a good idea to move there at first because it was so quiet, but I did not like sharing my apartment with roaches and other bugs. Every day after work I would literally find atleast one roach. The stress of that alone made this experience unpleasant. On a positive note, the management staff was very nice to me, there was covered parking, and it is quiet. If you are going to stay here, make sure you stay in an upstairs room. A lot of the residents are very happy here but I personally did not have a good experience.
