Since February of 2005, the same time that management of this community changed hands and was purchased by Encore Property Management, this community has gone straight to hell.
The manager, Tasha, nor any of the other office personnel will return a phone call. I have put in maintenance request after maintenance request, in writing and verbally over the phone and left on answering machines. Never once was my request ever ackknowledged, but they always have what they feel is a good excuse.
The community looks like a landfill. The dumpsters over flow on a weekly basis. When management was questioned about how many pick ups were scheduled per week, I was told 3 times. That is a complete lie. At the time the trash was being picked up by the waste management company only ONE time. The people who do live here are too lazy to walk to another dumpster that isn't quite so full so they just pile the trash up in front of the dumpster. Trash is every where...LITTERALLY. But the type of people renting here now, obviously don't care about they way their community and the place they live looks. I am quite embarrassed to have people over to my home on the weekends because I know the trash from the dumpsters will be litterally everywhere. When I suggested to management that scheduling more trash pick ups, which the residents pay for on their water bills, would easily solve this problem, mangement told me that the maintenance crew would move the over flow of trash by hand to another dumpster that was not over flowing. NICE.
The yard are full of animal feces. Pet owners here were once required to pick up after their pets and fined if they didn't, but not since Encore took over.
The community supposedly has a security patrol offer that lives on site, but each time I have inquired about him/her, the officer has been unavailable, or away. A security officer is not going to solve this communities problems. Changing the the types of people this community rents to is the only thing that will bring this communtiy back to the standards it once had, but management is too desperate for renters for that to happen.
I cannot wait until my lease is up and I am able to get out of this ghetto, because that is exactly what it has become.
