I lived here for nine months, and in this time there weren't any major problems.

The studio apartment was a pretty good deal, with a big kitchen and good-size bathroom and closet. The apartments are old and most of the appliances are, too. Toward the end of my time there, the A/C, garbage disposal and dishwasher all stopped working. I would have put in a maintenance request, but the last one I put in was ignored...so I just moved out at the end of my lease.

I did notice that my car was keyed a few times, which is unfortunate. The neighbors around me were kind of sketchy, but I never felt unsafe.

If you attend Northlake and are on a budget, I would say that this place isn't bad for the price...but there really aren't any outstanding features about the complex.
