There has been a string of cars broken into in the "open parking" area. (I use the word open parking with hesitance, if you come home past 9pm, the likelyhood of you finding a spot to park is VERY VERY VERY small.) Although the managment says they havnt had anyone turn in complaints about this, the police dept. seems to disagree by telling us, "this apartment complex has been hit by people breaking into cars alot lately". So be careful, and keep an extra eye out on your vehicle!!!

TO MR CRIMINAL MISCHIEF- I have lived here going on three years and have not heard of anyone near my building getting broken in to. I know that I attended the Crime and Safety meeting the office held in April and there was only a handful of us that were informed about everything that is happening in our area. According to the officer that held the meeting she said that 99% of the time that cars get broken into is due to the fact that they leave valuables in sight...tempting a thieve to break in. Parking is limited, but where is it not in our area? At the movies, at restaurants, and even at Target. We have to give and take for living in a nice area.

Well that is the whole point............if you are living in a nice area, you do not expect to have cars broken into every day!!!! I'm sure you must be on Dakota Hill payroll to completely ignore complaints coming from majority of residents and stil vouching for them!!!!
