We had seen a review stating that Dakota Hill had poor insulation. We didn't think that mattered that much at the time but should have. That review is correct. The insulation is very poor there. It not only hurts you when it comes to utility bills (spending an average of $150-$200 a month for a one bedroom unit) but also for noise factors. We live on the units closet to 635 and it seemed that we were sitting beside the highway many times. The traffic noise was uncredibly above tolerable not to mention the noise you so easily encountered from neighbors as well. There was also a security problem with 3 different reports of women being stalked and subjected to seeing men pleasure themselves in an open area. We also saw a review for issues with management over deposit refunds. Unfortunately, this was true as well. We did our walk through and were given the all clear sign. We still have not received our depsoit and it has been 3 months. Dakota Hill is located in a great area and close to a lot of things but there are many communities that are much safer and better in that area.
