DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

I signed a 12 month lease and my lease expired on Aug. 31 2009 due to my move to another state. I recieved my "revised statement of deposit" in mail the other day hoping they send me my $150 deposit check, i read the statement and they took $55 for carpet damage, when there was NO damage to the carpet, and my water bill was $30 which made no sense because i paid $16 on the water bill the day before i checked out and made sure that i didn't owe and anything. They cleared me of all charges during my walk out process and now here i get a statement telling me my charges and that out of the $150 i would only get back $60 some dollars.
Be aware they do try to trick you in every possible way, the staff is beyond rude, not willing to help. Parking is terrible, I would come home from work around 8pm and I have quite the walk to my apartment.
Also spotted a rat and few mices on the property near parking spots. I've also stayed at Villa Miranda, the apt right next to Dakota Hills and I recommend those, but due to the unavailability at the time I went ahead and leased with Dakota. Rent at your own risk folks.
