First off, I have lived here for 6 months and my a/c has gone out not once or twice, but four times. Each taking a week or more to fix. Parking is terrible. MY CAR GOT TOWED! It was parked in an uncovered spot that was not reserved along the south side of the complex. There were NO signs at all. The office's resolution was that I should rent a covered space to ensure my car doesn't get towed. If I'm parking in the uncovered spaces as a resident, shouldn't they verify my tags to make sure they are towing the correct car' There are no covered spaces even close to my building left or I'd just rent one.

The office staff are friendly, but fake. They have lost my rent check TWICE. MAKE SURE TO GET A DEPOSIT slip if you rent here. In my building alone there have been multiple break-ins, domestic fights, and car break-ins. I woke up one morning to someone's CDs, sunglasses, and other car belongings all torn up and thrown on my car and the parking lot.

My electric bills average about $200 a month for a second floor apartment. The insulation here blows...

The apartment itself is poorly renovated. There are areas in the floor that are uneven under the carpet. I had to move furniture over these areas so I wouldn't trip. The countertops are cheap and peeling. My apartment has started to smell because my neighbors downstairs smoke. Anytime you touch the walls the paint gets dirty. When they repainted, they did not take any of the hardware off the cabinets and doors, so when you grab a handle you feel like there is something on the door knob.
Also, if you want satellite TV, you're screwed, as only a few of their apartments are actually facing the correct direction. They will send you lease violations out the *** even when they assure you that your apartment could have a satellite dish. My sinks smell no matter how many times I call them and I've tried everything myself.

The laundry room hasn't been serviced the entire time I've lived here. There are no wash cards and I have asked multiple times. I finally got a washer and dryer, but checked just before I wrote this and nope, still none!
Not only is there a roach and ant problem, but there is also a lizard problem!! I understand this is Texas, but I don't like waking up to lizards in my bed!

If you do park in an uncovered parking area be prepared to have your car **** on by every bird. The shrubs and trees are all over grown.

This place blows... It's way too overpriced and now with the construction on 635 the traffic is TERRIBLE. Rent somewhere further up N. Mac or over off of 114 if you want to stay in Las Colinas.

i couldn't agree with you more. i lived at this place for ten months, and was counting days to move out this year. the electric bills are through the roof definitely. they do average about $200ish a month for a one bedroom apartment. i had a first floor apt, so i had lots of baby roaches and ants coming through the balcony window. if you ever woke up in the middle of the night, and came out of your room, u better expect to see tons of insects crawling on the carpet. the laundry center is a joke. i had to get numerous laundry cards, cause none of them would work. then i started losing money in the washers and dryers, cause apparently they don't get serviced. there are nicer apartments on macarthur, so please beware before you decide to rent here. and yes, the office staff does lose your rent checks, or fails to update their system, and you end up getting eviction notices on your door
