Eagle Crest Apartments

Nothing but trouble! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/29/2002 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002   We signed our lease and they seemed friendly and helpful. We got our keys and moved in. I went to go check the mail, and the key wouldn't work. I told one of the staff members and she sent a maintenance man over to change the lock. I started checking my mail daily, but didn't recieve ANY for three weeks! I was really starting to worry because I didn't understand why we weren't receiving any bills in the mail, or anything at all for that matter. I finally started to catch on to what was happening when I looked at the mail that we did receive, with someone elses name on it. It had a different address than mine. Eagle Crest failed to tell us that there was 2 addresses and where to check our mail. WE HAD BEEN ILLEGALLY CHECKING SOMEONE ELSES MAIL!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! I finally was shown where to check my mail, by another resident, and I was furious! I went to the office and told them what they had done, I couldn't believe they were that stupid! They fixed the lock on my REAL mailbox and gave me a new key. By this time there was A LOT of mail with late notices and late FEES! I paid it all. Also we have had a leak from our AC in our bathroom, it has taken them 5 times to fix it. Our AC has gone out twice. On the last time it went out, I called them on a Saturday and they never showed up, so my husband called them On MONDAY and had to be stern for them to hurry up and fix it. I mean that's someones health your messing with when its freaking August and the AC doesn't work. Anyway they gave us a coupon for a free carpet cleaner for all of our trouble, that to me is an insult.
