Emerald Point Apartment

Not a bad place to live From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/20/2004 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001   I have lived in the neighborhood down the street from the apartments (my father owns a townhome in Washington Square. I also resided in the apartments for a year. It is not that bad of a neighborhood to live in. I was however shocked at the prices now but over all it is fairly nice. There are some not so good parts of the neighborhood that i would rather not be in but overall it is safe. There are cops that drive around alot and there are alot of kids. The playground is awesome since they just redid it and it has 2 pools. The new office and clubhouse are very nice as well.I would recommend the apartments to someone I would just warn them of the places further away from the office/clubhouse, these places are not as safe feeling to me. As I said I have been around here for about 12 years and when I was younger I had friends that lived in the neighborhood and my parents felt safe letting me go any where in the neighborhood. I do have to say that there is one particular group of teenagers that walks around constantly being loud and obnoxious but they are really nothing to worry about. They are abnoxious but if they bother you enough let someone know.
