Not a great place to live!

I've lived here since June of this year and cannot wait for my lease to end.
Ever since we moved in, I have had a constant roach problem, in the kitchen, bathrooms and even my closet.
The bugs seem to be a constant, doesn't matter if someone has moved in/out or what bug sprays you use.
I had a professional exterminator out this fall, but it really hasn't made that much of a difference.
Parking is a joke! IF you get home any time past 9:30, you can forget parking near your building.
Maintanence calls are not reponded to in a timely manner, I put in a maintanence request on 12/23 for a broken toilet and broken laundry room door....no one has come out to address this issue.
I've called the office numerous times and even went in person this week.
Also, the apartment is very poorly insulated.
I've never had higher electricity bills.
Not to mention I can hear EVERYTHING my next door and upstairs neighbors do.
This place is a joke.

It occurs to me that the average renter is unaware of their rights (as HIGHLY limited as they are) and always complaining about how maintanence doesnt respond. Send the office a certified letter with a required signature/return form that shows they got your written request to repairs/services. Its all in your lease agreement! READ IT BEFORE SIGNING!
