It is a nice place to live. Seeing the airplane traffic fly overhead was kinda cool, but cellphone service pretty much never worked cuz of that. My only complaint is one day I was laying out by the pool. 2 kids jumped in and their parents were busy moving into their new place. I close my eyes to enjoy the sun, and a leasing agent comes by. "Excuse me". Not thinking it was directed at me, I ignore it. Again "Excuse me". I look up. The agent says "do you live here'". Irritated, and with a look of (DUH!) I said "yesss". He then asks me what apt. I tell him and he says "ok, we are just making sure since in the past, people who don't live here had been using the pool". I said "really' you should come out here between 5-6pm when there's about 15 hispanic men in the pool, diving in and acting like idiots". I then go back to enjoying the sun. He looks at the 2 boys and again bugs me "Excuse me". I look up with "what now'". He asks if the kids are with me. "No". My first time I'm out at the pool and get accused of not living there. OMG. Interrogated for being at the pool.
And here's an incident for ya. Though I was outta town this night...the Oshman's just a 1/2 mile away is where the 7 inmates who escaped back in 2000, gunned down the Irving cop. ....
