I lived here for a little over a year and this place is absolutley horrible due to the manager. I am a white female married to a hispanic male and the first day we arrived we had problems. The manager would not talk to me at all but only to my husband in spanish even though he was speaking english. She then proceeded to tell my husband that he should watch out for white woman who marry --------- because we were only after their money. sh econstantly founf a reason to come into our apartment no matter if we were home or not. She always found a reason to complain about us. she told me my 5 year old daughter could not play outside with a bowl of water in the summer because residents were complaining there was no one outside. We were finally evicted when the manager claimed that my mother was living with me and not on the lease. My mother came by every day to watch my daughter fro three hours while I worked. She also claimed that my brother lived there, while he was visiting the bathroom cabinet fell on his back and shoulders because of the termite and ant infestion. the parking lot was always cut in half by the gate and balconies are falling apart.

I used to be friends with another interracial couple who lived at Garden Plaza, only black & white instead of hispanic & white, and they complained about that same manager to no end. They continually griped about her pushiness & her overt racisism even after they moved out. Aparently, she's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
