I just moved from this complex, and I must say that they are absolutely horrible. I have lived here for several years (started when they were an Amli complex), and the new management cares nothing about their tenants. Under the AMLI group, the management was pretty good and the maintenance (when needed) was responsive. Under the new Gardens group, this has all changed.

To start with... My water heater broke and I was able to catch the leakage before major damage was done. However, it took almost a full day to have the heater replaced, and the shelf that was damaged under the heater was never fixed. I personally submitted over 20 maintenance requests to have this completed and on the day of move out it was still not done.

When moving out...expect to be stuck with a several hundred dollar bill for the most outrageous things. I hired a maid service to clean my apartment once empty, and was still charged for cleaning. I was also charged for things that were not broken or damaged. The most outrageous thing I was billed for was a doorjam, meaning I basically put a whole new door on the apartment and there was no damage.

Could I dispute these charges, nope... the reason being is that the management quoted all of these things on a letter dated the 10th of the month, but they failed to mail it until the 19th. And the kicker, you have 10 days to dispute or they expect to be paid.

So for me, I wound up paying several hundred dollars for these charges. I am just glad to be out of this complex, who gave me sooo many issues. Move out was a complete and total nightmare.

I would not recommend this community to my worst enemy.
