Don't understand the negative comments

My mom and I toured the Grand Treviso on 4/2 with Jennifer. She was very professional and showed us a few apartments with different floor plans, even after I told her that my current lease was expiring in 6 months. She spent about 1.5 hours with us and she was very patient with our questions regarding rent vs. purchasing a condo. Also, the property looked very clean and sounded very quiet. I have to say that I love the layout of the place because it reminds me of a hotel. It was five stars!

I currently rent (5 years) another property in Las Colinas and I am thinking of upgrading to this place. The price is higher, however that is price you pay in order to have a Las Colinas address. I mean, think of the people that pay millions to live in Hackberry Creek and Highland Park'

I am curious to know about the drugs issue. Are there dealers in the hallways or questionable persons roaming the property at all hours' Unfortunately, this issue along with the other issues listed in previous postings are prevalent in any other rental property across the DFW area. It is unfortunate, but no place is truly safe.

Since the Grand Treviso has recently changed to condos, below is the only thing that is holding me back from signing a lease - If you have a lease and someone wants to purchase your apartment in order to turn it into a condo, the Grand Treviso gives you X days to move out and into another open apartment on site. It makes me feel like I would be living out of a suitcase and never really calling my apartment a home.

Starting 3/1/08, the one bedroom model home at The Grand Treviso is available for lease. This model home is on the 11th floor and has a lot of upgrades. Our asking rent is $1,195 per month. The market rent for this unit is $1,500 but since we are not using any realtor service, we are able to price it lower and pass on the savings to you.
