Hillcrest Apartments

Not so bad From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/11/2005 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2005   I've been in these apartments for around 4 years. It has not been a bad experience. There have been a few problems. Frequently changing management is the biggest problem. With so many management changes the renters' information gets misplaced or lost. I know from experience. I live in a loft style one bedroom and the electric bill is high. That's because of all of the open space which has to be heated and cooled. The present management have been very friendly and helpful with my concerns. The maintenance crew is outstanding. The few problems that I have had were taken care of quickly and in an orderly fashion. The largest problem with the property's maintenance is the plumbing for the complex. It is old is gets stopped up often and then the water must be turned off for a few hours for repairs. The crime in the area has started to get a bit worse over the last few months though. It's not the management's fault, just the area. I would recommend these apartments to someone. The rent here is great. They have only raised my rent once. It's still below market.
