Huntington Ridge Apartments

Bad experience From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/24/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   I have lived in the complex for less than a year. The apartment was totally dirty when I moved in and I was told I had to clean it myself. Also as a part of the deal I was able to choose two accent walls. They had them painted but it looks like whoever painted them was completely drunk. There is blue paint on the carpet and they washed their brushes in the bathtub and now it has a nice maroon and blue stain in it. I brought this to the attention of the office and their response was they could provide me with some paint to touch it up. The management is nowhere to be found most of the time and are not very helpful when you do seem to track them down. They don't respond to email and goodluck getting them to return phone calls. I had my vehicle towed from my parking spot that I pay for every month and was told that it was my issue. I have since filed in court against the towing company which is completely unprofessional. Although the actual apartment itself appears to be a good place the surrounding area is the ghetto. Irving PD is always driving through the area and that shouldn't make you feel safer because there are usually 3 or 4 of them in the area due to crime. I will not be resigning my lease when its up. The walls are very thin. The neighbors above me are either 800 pounds or there is no padding. Also I can hear music that is actually the next building over. This apartment complex and community is not worth the high rent. You can get an apartment in Vally Ranch or Las Colinas for the same price in a nice neighborhood. Do your research and check the apartment out before you sign. Do not trust them by just seeing the show apartment. Look at the apartment you will actually be moving into before you sign the lease.
