ive lived here 2 years, going on 3, and i love this place

in fall 2005 i moved in hurriedly with a notice of one day. my job started the following monday and in spite of all of this, they handed me keys to my 1 bedroom without a hitch.
during that first year of my lease, i experienced a very quiet community with zero issues. every time i had a maintenance concern, they answered quickly and without fail. if i had an issue with rent, they addressed it and so long as i communicated with them what was occurring i never had a problem.
in fall of 2006 i signed my lease once again for one year and decided to move into a 1 bedroom with a study. i chose my accent colors and soon enough my apartment was ready to move into the following month. i loved it.
during my time at huntington ridge the staff has always readily helped me during hard times and have always paid attention to my concerns. the individual prior to my review calling nicole bipolar is not only rude but uncalled for. she has always greeted me nicely and with a smile. her and the staff have always professionally handled everything i have ever needed.
i have since signed my lease for my 3rd year and enjoy living here. i know my neighbors and i actually feel like this is the appropriate place for me and my family.
i can sleep easily at night and im a single woman with 2 children.
fyi:
they have installed locks on the windows to keep burglers from being able to open them, they have a security patrol. they also have zero bugs and rodents. the grounds are always clean and manicured. in fact, during the summer you can hear the lawn service outside regularly. the pool is clean. as for the work out room not working completely, true. it has a few machines that dont work properly but ive never mentioned it and im sure if i did they'd fix it. parking isnt insane, theres always a spot available whether or not you have paid or otherwise. there may be dated items in the apartment, but they are clean and in working condition. and the amount of square footage, amenities, and caring staff equal to your rent.
moreover, in reference to it being "ghetto", if there are complaints about the neighborhood, don't move here' you'd have to be blind not to know that irving isn't spectacular and upper crust living.
oh and how about next time, putting your email/name. anonymous postings are not only sophmoric but they lack the ability for them to rectify the situation.

I don't know you and you don't know me so please don't pass judgment on me when I didn't post anything about you. This website is a forum for people to share their honest opinions and experiences about Huntington Ridge Apartments/ Staff. And that's what I did. I'm glad you and Nicole are BFFs but my experience was different. We have a thing called freedom of expression in this country and you exercised yours so I will do the same. Also, check the date on the posts. They are months old. Your response is a day late and a dollar short. Uhm, maybe like your your rent. I guess they let your pay your rent late or maybe not at all in exchange for this post. I am fortunate enough to be able to pay my rent on time every month and do not expect/ or receive special treatment from Nicole. However, I do expect quality and timely service in exchange for my commitment to lease an apartment. But maybe the maintenence budget was running low since they let certain people pay late or never. Name calling people for their posts is definitely sophomoric. So is expecting people to feel sorry for you b/c you are a single parent w/ two kids. No one made you have kids. Does Nicole babysit for you too? She's probably your best friend which is why you are more bothered than she is about the posts. It's fine if you have good things to post about Huntington Ridge but as far as other posts are concerned, M.Y.O.B. lady!
