I lived at Jefferson Creek Apts. for over two years. During that time, I had to deal with leaks in the ceiling, leaks from windows, no insulation at all, mold, broken garbage disposal which was never replaced as promised. The noise is awful due to paper-thin walls and ceilings. Covered parking is "first-come, first-serve", and very hard to obtain. I was in the pool one night, and spotted a very large rat walking around the pool. The garbage bin is always over-flowing with trash. The water bill is way too high, and is supposedly an "average" bill shared by all tenants. So even if you're away, you will be charged for OTHER tenants water usage, not to mention the constant watering of the trees and shrubs. Plus, I'm not really sure whats wrong with the water, but it smells like raw sewage. The rent goes up at every lease renewal, while no improvements are made at all. While I was moving out of this disaster area, I was informed by office personnel the carpet would be replaced, and to just sweep it or vacuum. Then I find out my deposit was relinquished for the carpet, and "smoke damage" (I assume they don't paint the apartment before re-leasing). Overall, the maintenence of this complex is non-existant. You have to constantly stay on management to get anything repaired, then all they do is a quick fix which never lasts long. I am in the process of locating someone to estimate the damages done to my personal items due to all the leaks which were never repaired, and submit a final bill to Jefferson Creek Apartments. Move here, if you don't mind living in a trashy complex with office personnel who will steal every dollar from you they can, and just don't give a damn about the tenants. Thank GOD I'm out of here!!!
