Cons:

1. This complex seriously lacks diversity. The residents are 95% South Asian, with Whites, ------ & --------- filling in the other 5%. If you aren't of S. Asian decent, it kinda makes you wish you had picked somewhere else to live. They appear to be unfriendly and unwelcoming to "outsiders".

2. My neighbor's water rushing through the pipes has been a source of irritation for me. It's loud and you can't drown out the sound. So whenever they decide to wash, shower, etc - you've got to go along for the ride. I think I might have the cleanest (or dirtiest)neighbors on the planet b/c they'll run their water for hours on end - everyday. What could they possibly be cleaning like that'

3. The pungent odor of Indian cuisine drifts through my vents every evening. It makes me nauseous. It smells as if they eat the same thing everyday.

4. This is a very large complex and folks have lots of children. There's always some kid whining and wailing out in the parking lot.

5. Wash basin is on the outside of the bathroom (this makes no sense whatsoever)

Pros:

1. Free intrusion alarms

2. You automatically get a free covered parking spot - assigned.

3. Locale - lots of shopping areas nearby

4. Lots of closets.

Bottom Line: The larger the complex, the more noise you'll have to deal with. If you don't have any kids go w/a smaller complex that doesn't feature 3 bedroom floorplans. If diversity matters, drive the grounds on your own time to see who you'll be living with.

The experience hasn't been unpleasant, per se - it just hasn't been great.
