I've stayed here for nearly 2 years,and it's been okay. When I first moved in, after about 6 months, I had a personal incident in which I had to move to another apartment within the complex ASAP, and the manager helped me, and waived the transfer fee, WHICH WAS WONDERFUL!
Also the rent price is good considering the area; conveniently near all major shopping stores, etc. Not bad rent for the space you get, and being on the park. And it's minutes away from my job....it all depends on what's important to you....
Now, the bad things are...I wish the apartments had different paint on the walls with crown molding...taupe walls with off white crown molding, giving the apartment more character....more up to date appliances/cabinets...and A BIGGER TUB!! Now, I'm an average sized lady, not big at all, but I wish the tub wasn't snow white, and so small!! I'm use to having more space. But I just deal with it due to the affordable rent...
I do hate the yelling of all the children...and the terrible smells of the garbage sitting out...seems there should be another way to gather the trash...it's so not appealing at all..
There are a lot of ------- in the complex...but hey, I don't care, because they don't bother me....as long as that's done, and my home/space is respected, then I'm happy.
Also, most complexes offer one complimentary carpet cleaning once a year...NOT THIS COMPLEX!! And I HATE that the complex hasn't fixed those 2x4's they call 'gated entry' YET!! It's been nearly 2 years, not fixed yet!!!
In the model apartments, the walls are painted taupe, and trimming around the doorways are off white....THE REST OF THE APARTMENTS ARE ALL WHITE!! Why we can't get some improvements too''

We can forget about this place ever being really gated! Not only that, it was the old manager who helped you initially. The new manager has no tact or concern for the tenants here. She'd never do anything to go above and beyond for anyone.
