I have had the opportunity to reside in many apartment communities. I must say that my stay at Jefferson Park Apartments was fraught with nothing but aggravation and disappointment. I have lived in other apartments for lower rent that were much more satisfactory than this. It is definitely not worth the money.

1) We continually had problems with our A/C unit which the maintenance staff did not seem overly concerned about and the problem was never resolved. Our electric bill never (even during the winter) dropped below $180/month! During the hottest month in the summer, it was $300! Can you afford that' I have lived in apartments in hot areas before and never paid more than $200/month even during the hottest months.

2) After the change in management occurred, the level of customer service declined dramatically. Prior to that change, one could go to the office any time of the day and at least get attentive and professional service. The new manager was very rude to me. Her poor attitude and disregard for good customer service seems to have permeated the entire office. She obviously does not understand that she is responsible for setting the tone for the office and that her poor attitude and lack of professionalism toward the tenants will ultimately be reflected by her staff. As a tenant who always paid my rent on time, never disturbed my neighbors and did not make too many picky requests of the office, I certainly expected much more consideration than I received from the staff. I hope that they understand that word of mouth is a very powerful force.

I left Jefferson Park Apartments totally and completely disgusted. It is the first time that I can ever report feeling so negatively about an apartment community.
