I am a current resident. The following story I will write is 100% true.

I should have found this web-site before I moved in. Unfortunately, I already moved in and my home was burglarized on Oct 16, 2008 (Thursday). I arrived my apt abound 9PM at that night and found my door was totally broken by somebody. Everything was messed on the floor. I called the police right away and a officer arrived and checked my room. He made me stay out side of room because he thought a suspect might still be in my room. He checked nobody was there and started investigation. They took my computer, passport, visa and social security card. I was horribly terrified. The Police officer also asked me to make an emergency call to a leasing office because my door did not work anymore. Then, I made more than 10 emergency maintanence calls to at that night but nobody came to me. There was an emergency phone number in this apartment but nobody answered my calls. The police officer also made a call to a main police station to find that there was another emergency phone number of this property. However, there was no other phone number for this property. The police officer stayed with me for another 2 hours and waited for emergency maintenance help but nobody was coming at that horrible night.

Could you imagine how I was terribly scared at that night' My home was totally broken and opened for all night long. However. I could not leave my home because I needed to keep my other stuffs safe. Finally, the maintenance guys came to me around 9AM next morning. I also waited until someone in the leasing office would come to me and ask about the situation of that night. However, NOBODY came to me from this leasing office!! I was really disappointed with these guys. I dropped the leasing office by next Tuesday and tried to talk with a property manager. He already knew the situation of that night. I said I made emergency call many times but nobody came to me that night. Furthermore, I told him nobody from the office came to me and ask me about the situation and I was really disappointed with how you treated residences. He said he did not know there was no help at that night. Rather, he asked me whether someone in the leasing office asked me or not about the situation. I had no idea whom I talked with at that time. He was a manager and supposed to do something for me. However, he had no idea what he was supposed to do.
Now, I am taking a psychological counseling service offered by the Irving police department. I still feel scary and nervous when I stay my apt. I feel like someone might break my door, kill me and take my stuffs.

I talked with my lawyer about this matter about this matter. He recommended me to do legal action. He said I surely can ask legal help with this situation. My lawyer said the management needed to keep this property safe and do something right away after the situation. He said that was a business negligence problem with the management. I also found the court will help me to fix this situation. I also think someone should be responsible for this situation. I will go to the counseling service next week and see my lawyer again.

They should realize the value of their precious customers and how hard it is to find a new job under current US economic situation.

I also found that the Jefferson Park Apt is managed by Trimarchi Company.

I'm not usually a litigious person but I agree with you, this is a situation that probably warrants a lawsuit. That is truly terrifying, I hope you can find another place where you don't have to feel scared!
