In for a suprise! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/4/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007 1 response   Jefferson Ridge is by far the worst place I have EVER lived. The first day when I'm moving in I turn on the water in the kitchen to make sure it was turned on and 2 roaches ran out of the drain! It only gets worse from here. After numerous complaints to management about the roaches and them "Spraying", (I honestly don't even think that they were spraying) I went out and bought roach bait, roach motels, boric acid, and spray foam! The reason I'm mentioning the spray foam is because when I was unpacking all my things after I initially moved in, I noticed holes where the the pipes ran into the apartment. Not to mention the huge hole in the cabinet by my stove that they neglected to patch. After filling all these holes and putting out all the roach poison I finally managed to kill all the roaches. Keep in mind that these were here the day I moved in! The little baby ones too! After my whole roach fiasco I had issues with the person who moved in above me. Now to be totally fair I don't think it was the tenants fault anymore because another tenant moved into the same apartment and the noise continued. The floors must be paper thin because I could hear everything the person above me did. It almost sounded like the tenant was running a marathon. There was a problem with this tenants refrigerator and it leaked causing his apartment to flood which in turn flooded my kitchen. Management never addressed this situation. I came home to find maintenance in my apartment who couldn't tell me anything! I went to the office and they just told me good thing I had renters insurance. They didn't replace the texture on the ceiling or fix the cabinets after I complained about the water damage. Eventually a new tenant moved in and was 100% worse. Leaving dog feces in front of my door and playing music so loud I could make out the words all the time. I honestly was at the end of my lease and didn't mention this to the apartments because all of my other complaints fell on def ears. Management was terrible if you didn't pick that up from this review. I highly advise people who plan on renting from this property to be cautious. This was a terrible experience and I was stuck in a lease for far too long. Good luck if you choose to stay here!
