I lived here for 2 yrs. Paid rent on time, etc. At the end I realize that I paid nearly $300 just to live in the apartments. The only thing that gets credited to your acct (in my case) is the extra deposit money which is kept separately. The other money is gone for good. I figure the landlord is making out like a bandit (literally) since you totally pay for any wear & tear on the unit when you move in with your deposit. Since not one dime was ever spent on it in 2 yrs then it's all profit. My hot water heater busted and flooded the apt and it was up to me to clean up damages. I had to complain just to get them to repair the shelf that it sits on so it wouldn't fall onto the floor. Still I get charged for my "new" carpet. They managed to spend my $300 deposit money and send me a rudely worded letter asking for more. Just be aware that these people are in it for the money so don't expect anything more. Do not rely on anyone in the office for maintence help during your residency because they are insincere about helping. They say "Yes" but it really means "No" when you are face to face. Move out & they get snotty about anything else.
