We will not be renewing our lease when it expires. If we could afford to break it we would. I was somewhat excited when we first moved in, but all that has now changed. First, the apartments are so old that we can hear our upstair neighbors pacing back and forth and sometimes get scared for fear that they may fall through our ceiling. Heck, we can even hear then talking. Termites are another issue. Bug guy has been there twice and still cannot kill these things. Maintenance, I will say that they do try to get things fixed as soon as you report it, but the job is always done with no permanent resolution rather a temp fix. I am a pet owner and I take responsibilty in picking up after him should he decide to make a mess on the grounds. However, there have been at least 4 separate dog owners that think it's nice to walk their pets right outside our patio. It's nice to look outside and see what our fellow resident dog owners leave behind. The water bills have increased by $5 each month since we have been living here and now are well on their way to $50. Usually the staff sends out the bills after the first and then the due date is the following day. I have never paid more than $22/mo for water while living in a town home. Kids, well being a parent I can voice my opinion on this area as well. They are all over this place and they love to throw rocks at your parked cars while you're inside. The parents are either not at home or don't care about their activities in the complex. I attempted to call the courtesy patrol to address a group teenage boys making all sorts of noise outside our front door only to find out that there is no patrol and the automated system instructs you to call the Irving PD (who by the way never showed up). Lastly, security at this place is non-existant. I did a search and found out that there is a sex offender living within the same complex. Two cars have been burgularized and our car almost monthly has new door dings while parked here. Tenant's have had their clothes have been stolen out of the laundry facility. Irving police have been racing through our parking lot for domestic disputes. The staff has been rather nice to us though despite all that I rambled on above, but it really is the people that surround you that make this place undesirable.

It would be a good idea to live here if you want cheap apartment plus this apartment is close to grocery stores, irving, mall, close to high 161, 183 and Hwy 114.I live here because i have buddies live here plus this apartment is very close to my work. I can save money on gas. I agree that apartment is old. Door closed but air comes through from outside. In winter even though you have heat on you still feel cold.
