Great place to live but just know this...

I've lived in a few places in the DFW area, and comparatively the Knightsbrige complex is very, very nice. The maintenance crew is just unbeatable. Our microwave went out once, and I could not believe how fast they put a brand new one in and I'm talking a nice over the stove unit too.
The hot tub and pool are VERY well maintained, hot tub is always hot, and pool always clean. Every time the hot tub has needed service, it was done immediately and the grounds were always kept very nice.
Overall I definitely recommend Knightsbridge. The only reason we left was because their voice and data services are Verizon. Talking to their service tech they sent out when our DSL went out, they had 28 service guys last year for the area, and this year they were down to just 3. We were on a community based DSL system, and after I was left a dead modem by a tech on a service call, then was told I'd have to wait another week for another tech to come back out, I cancelled service Id had for over 2 years of being with Verizon Avenue service. I tried to get a phone line turned on through SWB, but because SWB was providing service over Verizon lines, they were at their mercy to get the line turned on. After waiting 15 days and Verizon not being able to get the job done, I just called and cancelled and we made arrangements to move to get better more dependable communication services.
Through the grapevine, we found out that Verizon might be terminating the Avenue service altogether in all the communities that had it, plus reading of the news of the Verizon strikes coming up in the next few months, coupled with their massive loss of service technicians in our area, all topped off with the fact that they couldn't get a simple phone line turned on not only in the 7-10 day range quoted by SWB, but not even by the 15th day when I finally just said forget it and decided to move.
Another small thing was that the computer in the business office never worked, and it would be funny you'd be in there making a copy etc. and management would be showing prospective tenants the "amenities" and they'd say this is our business office with internet access when anyone who lived there knew the computer hadn't worked in months. So telling people something works when you in fact know it didnt and doesnt didnt really impress me as being exactly forthright with prospective tenants.
Glad to say that attitude didn't carry over into the living conditions there, in every other situation when things needed to be fixed they got fixed and always pretty fast.
If you can live without high-speed Internet access or operate off just cellular, then I'd definitely recommend Knightsbridge. If you depend on high speed Internet for work etc., just make sure you explore your options there, and know working with Verizon is slow, slow, slow, if they can get it done at all. If Knightsbridge could/would get different data services, it would be the perfect place to live in my book.
