This is THE MOST DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! I only lived there a year because of "specials" for a year lease. Boy was that a SCAM!! We had FREQUENT plumbing backups which were always plunged with a plunger. Just a quick-fix to a MAJOR PROBLEM. There were ALWAYS raw sewage backups from buildings which lead to disgusting puddles around your buildings. Puddles sometimes leaked into the parking lot and you have to play hop-scotch with ---- and toilet paper just to get to your car without getting your shoes dirty. Playing outside was unthinkable because of the disgusting mini-cesspools. But the kicker, when I couldn't take it anymore was when a MAJOR SEWER PIPE BROKE in the middle of the night. We heard people in our building shouting and running around which was what woke us up. We ran into the living room and SAW THE DISGUSTING MESS OF RAW SEWAGE COMING FROM THE WALLS IN THE KITCHEN AND DINING AREAS! BROWN ---- WATER WHICH STUNK TO HIGH HELL LEAKING FROM WALLS, ELECTRICAL OUTLETS, BASEBOARDS, AND ANYWHERE NEAR THE ACCOMPANYING WALL. We had a 2 inch flood of raw sewage in the kitchen. We called the emergency maintenance and it took them FOREVER to come to assess the problem. Everyone in the building was spittin' nails. Everyone wanted a professional cleaner to clean the mess because of waterstains on walls, carpets were saturated, drywall was saturated and smelled horrible, but manager denied knowing of ANY PROBLEM and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! My roommate and I stayed a whole month at my brother's place because the stench was intolerable! Manager refused to release us from our lease. I called and reported to Irving's code of enforcement numberous times, but nothing happened. I called Irving Fire Dept to report wiring in water, they said they'll make a note to complex. No action taken by the manager. I notified Irving's Health Code dept, again no action by the manager. I couldn't do anything to get this manager off her ass to act. So I got the hell out of there soon as my lease was up. DO NOT INVEST ANY TIME, EFFORT, MONEY, INTEREST, INTO THIS HELL-HOLE.
