No recycling facilities, but ok otherwise

Overall a good apartment complex except for two things - 1. location and 2. total lack of recycling facilities!
Because of this, I'm unable to recommend this otherwise livable complex.
If you're moving from out of state, you may be shocked to find that many apartments in Irving have no recycling facilities (some do, so ask when you call) !!! I've approached the management several times trying to discuss this topic - the apartment manager's response hasn't been positive. This is not a priority according to them. If only they understand that there's a garbage patch twice the size of Texas floating in the pacific... for now, I'm forced to accumulate the recyclables and lug it to the city's recycling center (5 miles away) periodically. Total pain!
Another minus (atleast for now) is the location. Most grocery stores (Kroger etc) are about 4-5 miles away. You may want to consider apartments on/near Macarthur Blvd if this is an issue.
Otherwise, I haven't had many issues with the apartment. Most of the residents are on the younger side, early to mid twenties, so the pool area gets noisy - you may want to find an apartment away from the pool.
Parking is adequate for residents, but limited for guests.
