Great apt, some noise from upstairs From: bcoffey Date posted: 7/11/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   These apartments are great!! There is plenty of parking; the office staff is not only friendly but patient, and the amenities are everything you can ask for. The only thing I would change is that I took a 1st floor apartment for the looks and amenities (the concrete floor, black appliances, and overall cool environment) and I happen to live under a couple that has 2 kids between 2-6 years old and they are constantly bouncing a ball off the floor and onto the walls. The noise does get to me, especially when the kids are getting excited and start jumping off their bed and onto the floor, and the parents do not do anything to calm them down. All things being equal the apartment complex itself is great. It is not crowded in the gym; the business center has everything needed, including copy and fax machine, with 6 computers. Maintenance is sufficient in their request, and being right on the lake and canals, even when I can not get away for a weekend, if all I have is an hour or two, that is plenty of time to catch a few catfish (3-6lbs) or a carp (8 lbs). It is a great way to wind down when the day has had too much stress. My recommendation is to move in, but tries to get to the 3rd floor so that there are no noise issues, or hopes that the people upstairs have a job and are not at home all day with undisciplined kids.
