I have been living in these apartments since May 2006, and I can't wait for my lease to be up. From the first week of living here my husband and I have had to fight off ants. Each time the seasons change a new bug comes in and takes over the apartment. The summer time had nothing but ants, the Fall was bombarded by those huge cockroaches, the winter brought little roaches, and the Spring was ALL INCLUSIVE! The maintenance is okay, but who has time to call them to fix something when something new breaks down every other month' The doors fall off the hinges, the floor starts to come up under the carpet, and the walls are cracking. Another huge issue is that there is always a problem with the water pipes; the water is turned off too often to not be an issue. Oh yeah, if you like parking near your apartment, DON'T LIVE HERE! There are too many people living in these apartments who are "not on the lease", and they all seem to have cars. When you live in a townhome, you are supposed to have two parking spaces in front of your apartment, and when you live in a flat you are supposed to have a maximum of two spaces to each apartment. Some people don't grasp that concept. If you like being on your toes the whole time you live somewhere, come on down to Oak Hills.
