I have lived in oak hills for 3 years and until recently it was ok. I moved in because of the $460, over 700 sq ft 1 bedroom. It was a good deal, and living inside the complex it has been quiet. Now with a new manager they think this place is worth $705 without a lease, are you kidding. This is NOT a luxury community. I am very disappointed with the way management dealt with a sewage backup, the sewage backed up for hours. Neighbors told me the water was running out of my apartment for over 3 hours. I was at work. A carpet cleaning company was sent and vacuumed the carpet. It was still wet and stank. No fans and no thought to remove the carpet that had been soaked with sewage. I suffered headaches. I left all the windows open and all the fans running while I went to work the next day. When I arrived home the smelled was suffocating. I removed the carpet and have been fighting with management ever since because I am not paying to replace the carpet. They want me to live with headaches because you cannot get out the bacteria from a sewage backup. They just wanted to put more chemicals. It is the way they dealt with me that has me upset.

I have written to the management company and the woman supervisor lied to me, has been rude and has made me want to move.

Honey call corprate its called Alpha Barnes ask to speak to Jeff Barnes and let him know what is going on or ask for his e-mail address.That supervisor is a mean thing all they want is money to come in with nothing in return.That property is becoming the rotten apple in the barrel due to it is the only property on estrada that is accepting section-8.You should see the police reports on that property.They killed a man last year when he was coming home from work and took his wallet. Another man was coming home from work he was robbed at gun point in front of his door. So you see I firmly beleive that when housing starts to come into the picture thats when the value of the community starts to go to the wind. If I were you I would get out quickly before more residents get hurt!!!!
