Managers ignored my request to unbolt the windows regardless of it being a fire hazard. They had been screwed shut from previous tenants and the screws were rusted in. You better hope you donýt ever have emergency repairs because the maintenance man will have a nasty attitude while removing moldy carpet out of your apmt that they put off for days. I finally had to DEMAND they come remove the carpet because we were breathing the mold. After I moved out my babysitter was spanish speaking & got bullied around by the office staff due to her minority. I had to go to speak for her a few times & raise my voice at the dumb management. They were refusing to take any deduction for 3 days rent because she went without electricity, fridge, and a/c the entire 3 days when the electric box almost caught on fire. The city ordered they replace the whole unit. The box had been found to have previously smoked & sparked & almost caught on fire. The buildings are too old to be maintained properly, especially with the office that keeps refusing to repair items claiming, "It is not in our budget". YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT. It is set up that way, they never had any intention of giving it back.
