Best location, spacious apts, cheap finishings

When it came to location, no place was better, near the junction of 114 and 161, as well as near the heart of the MacArthur shopping area of north Las Colinas. The landscaping and surroundings have a posh corporate image. I lived in the largest 1-Br of Phase I apartments (built 1997). Unique: huge living, dining, and open den maximized common space like no other apt available for 845 sq ft, with the exception of the layouts at Cabochon. This is good because of the extensive windows. Pool view and the wonderful landscaping made this place the best environment. It's easy to tell that this was a former Post property based on the floor plan designs, the usage of space, e.g. W/D in the bathroom instead of the kitchen, great landscaping. Complaints: walls have no sound-proofing and look cheap, and the counter tops and cabinets are very cheap construction. No crown moldings. However, the balconies use a nice wooden deck instead of concrete.
