I think the Allison means it when she says she is sorry. I met her about two months before I moved out and it seemed like she was trying to make some changes, but from what I read here, it just isn't working as the same problems are still there. I think she has good intentions but maybe Lincoln won't back her up. I will vouch for the following complaints:
Your car paint WILL be ruined by bird poop unless you wash your car 2x a day. Literally.
The foundation is horrible and you will have cracks in the walls and problems with doors and windows.
There is dog poo EVERYWHERE. And yes, it smells.
The parking lot is not lit well - I feel safer walking the streets in New York City at night.
Appliances are old, flooring is cheap, and if the paint is new when you move in I'll be shocked.
Your rent will go up A LOT every time your lease expires.
Violations of the lease contract will not be taken care of by management. You will see trashy patios, see one adult bring ten kids to the pool, etc.
Lord help you if your rent changes if you (unfortunately) have to renew. It will take six months and a dozen calls to make them stop sending you letters about the amount being wrong. It's a mess. One month you're $1 over, the next month you're $5 under.
The water will be turned of on a regular basis.
Floors and walls are paper thin
If there is a problem and you complain you won't get anywhere, so just save your energy.
Bottom line - rent is HIGH there. Go somewhere else - this place charges Valley Ranch prices for Irving Ghetto living. Seriously, living on Northgate would give you the same type apartment and service for lower rates.
