Scheduled Water Shut Off EVERY Wednesday

Yes. As of August 2006, the water is scheduled to be shut off every Wednesday from 9AM to 5PM. This is to go on "indefinately".
A few months ago, the management conducted a massive campaign to get current tenants to renew their leases early to prepare for supposed "upgrades" to The Oaks. They told everyone they would have to either agree to move to more expensive already "remodeled" apartments soon, so the older ones can be renovated, or move out of the Oaks entirely. Naturally, all rents were increased.
They didn't, however, mention the planned water shut offs while they were doing all this. Classy, huh' Factor that into your decision to rent here. You WILL be unhappy with the management here.
As for other reasons to avoid this place, read the posts below. The littany of complaints are well grounded in reality as far as I've experienced. Run away!
