When I first moved into this apartment complex I was very excited because everything seemed so nice. Keyword . . . seemed! The office employees are not only incompetent but they have very bad additudes. The 24 hrs maintince is a good idea in theory but they can not make it work. Everytime I call for maintince they call me by another name (the last person that lived there . . . keep in mind I have been in my apartment for a yr.) They never come out with just one call, and when they do come out they do as little as possible to make the problem seem fixed! Ex: Shortly after I moved in my refrigerator started leaking. The maintance team came out 5 times and finally just said that they could not find a problem, however I was stepping in puddles everytime I walked in my kitchen. Finally after a week of arguing with them everyday, they replaced it.
My electric bill has sky rocketed and the water bill is entirely too high . . . especilly to have the water truned off at least once a week! And if the water is working for a full week then the water heater wont be . . . and of coarse none of this is ever The Oaks fault.
I also got a flat tire becuase the remodeling crew left screws scattered all over after working near my apartment.
I have lived in both a one and a two bedroom, the price for a two bedroom is okay for the size but do not go with the one bedroom. My 1,096 sq ft apartment was 937$ per month and my 575 sq ft one bedroom is $700! Give me a break!
I could go on and on, I have tons of stories, but teh bottom line is RUN to anywhere but The Oaks!
