I have been reading these reviews this afternoon and I have to be honest it all seems silly to me. My Wife and I have lived here since April of 07 and for the most part have loved it. Of course the occasional maitenence request has to be made and yes the ceilings are a bit squeaky but it is an APARTMENT. You are not living in a condo in Uptown folks, this is a small quaint apartment complex where the rent is reasonable and the management is great! The Wife and I will be here for a few more months until we purchase our first home and I do not dread what is to come or regret our decision to move here. It is humorous that most of the people that we have actually seen complain, the first on our move in day, are the "low income" looking people. Like I said this is just an apartment people, if you are unhappy become a homeowner! Great Job Oaks, the remodel is great and we have loved living here!

Again....assumptions....the original review posted here is NOT mine. I'm female, you dumbass...which would mean that I CAN'T have a wife! I was simply defending whoever posted this review originally....and for whatever reason unbeknownst to me, you felt the need to attack my personal character. Speaking of such...WTF is that comment about me being 'in hiding'...? As far as me being insulted...the only thing I find insulting about this whole argument is your continual baseless backwoods assumptions.....and your pathetic attempts at a debate based on fact and not insults. This is supposed to be a forum for opinions, yet people like you always want to turn it into a personal attack as soon as you come across anything or anyone you don't agree with....sounds like a personal problem to me. If you can't rebut with at the very least halfway intelligent remarks, why don't you do us all a favor and shut the ---- up! Now go back and play on your myspace account. NOW I will let this go.....

Your flippant "Let them eat cake attitude" says it all. Your comment, "if you don't like it move, buy a house" is very elitist. Okay Sherlock, obviously if I could afford a house I probably wouldn't be reading apartmentratings.com.
