Its being almost a year since my husband and i moved into these apts. It was all fine and dandy at the beginning but going on,some incidents which we could'nt digest began happening. We just dont know ,how much more irresponsible could the management be. I would like to warn tenants who are willing to move into these apartments by telling this particular incident which happened to us.
Two months ago,, i scheduled a Pest control treatment for my apartment which basically dealt to do something only in my balcony and out my front door of the apartment for some insects.I repeatedly told the management to tell the pest control guy who ever will enter into my apt to close the balcony door and the front door immediately once they enter into my apartment just to avoid getting the insects into my apt. The "pest control guy" entered my apt and was not even bothered to lock my apt when he left .And the second thing which pissed me off is that he left the keys to the key hole. And to my astinishment, i came home late from work at 11.30pm only to find the keys hanging to the key hole,,how rude and negligent was that !!!!And its close to 3 months since this happened, but not a damn thing was done about it nor finding the person who did this and they just want to pass off this matter. Staff and management is pathetic here and always have this bizzare water -shut downs . My friends,, beware of all this before you move into these apts .

I have been living here for only a few months, and I am totally on opposite ends of the spectrum with what was said. I have had a great stay here so far, and the maintenence/staff have been great. I'm sorry to hear about the whole pest control guy leaving your key in the door because the possibilities are endless with what could of happened if the right person found them. From my understanding the complex uses vendors and contractors for things such as extermination though, so I feel that you are complaining about the wrong people. Every time I look at a review or on a site about apartments, nobody ever has anything positive to say. It's always something negative.
But then again, you have to consider the source of the complaint. I don't know how much credibility someone has that has the spelling skills of a 7th grade child and the language of a foul-mouth high school football player.
I would definitely recommend someone to come and live here. Great specials, pricing, and location!!

Well, "Anonymous", poor spelling skills or lack of a spell checker does not negate the fact that this residents home was left unsecured with the keys assessable to anyone that walked by. A copy of that key could have been made and the originals put back in the lock, someone could have entered the apartment and have been waiting to rob or harm this resident etc.
No, "Anonymous", this review is not "complaining about the wrong people".
The reviewing resident makes a clear complaint about what the exterminator did and a clear complaint about managements lack of concern for the residents well-being and safety.
Yes, "Anonymous", I'm sure exterminating services are contracted to exterminating companies. I doubt that Lincoln Properties has their office staff strapping on a back carrier full of insecticides and spraying the property.
However, Lincoln Property Management is responsible for issuing a contract to a business. If that business has put a resident at risk and shown disregard for their property and safety, Lincoln Property should pull that contract. They should also have made an apology to the resident and immediately provided a locksmith to re-key the apartment.
The fact that they did nothing and after 3 months continue to do nothing, should be a real concern to anyone living at or considering renting from The Oaks of Valley Ranch.
Oh and just a little tip "Anonymous", if you have to use derogatory comments implying someone lacks a formal education or that IYO they are using vulgarities (which, IMO, they did not) in order to attempt to dissuade a reader from taking that review seriously, it simply reflects badly on you and IMHO adds more weight to the reviewers statements.
So, "Anonymous", next time you post a comment, post something, anything, that may be of interest to the reader.
A trite and hackneyed statement such as your inspired "Great specials, pricing, and location!!" sounds too much like a Lincoln Property Management Office Cheer.

I lived in this apartment for about one year and had very bad experience overall. This is very old apartment and almost every month the bathroom pipes will break and need to call the service guys. The service persons were very good but the apartment itself has very old plumping and it breaks very often.
A week before my lease was up, the pipe in bathroom broke and it flooded the apartment and I was not able to clean the carpet since it was all wet. They have to rip off all carpet and replaced with new one. The strange part is, they charged $500 on me for not cleaning the carpet even though it was not my mistake at all. Even after leaving the aprt I wanted to clean (after it was dry), but they did not give a chance and went ahead and replaced the carpet and charged on me.
I wrote this to top management and the regional manager says she can not do nothing about it. The reply itself was very rude.
The staffs in the office are very negligible and irresponsible. If you ask for something they will say he or she is not responsible for that and they will never pass on info to relevant person. They simple will ignore any of your request. You have to make repeated visit to get any info particularly if the concern person is on vacation or out of office.
I would never go back to this apartment again and would not suggest to anyone.
