Definitely Has Its Bad Points

I've been here almost a year and this apartment complex definitely has its bad points but there are a few good things too. The first and probably biggest problem is the walls, floors, and windows are so THIN! So the power bills tend to be a little higher than any apartment I ve ever lived in and you can pretty much hear the word for word conversation your neighbors are having. God forbid a neighbor is fighting or playing music then it s really loud. The water bill is divided by up by your building so it s outrageous, not to mention the apartment cuts off the hot water and sometimes the water all together for 24-48 hours at a time. This has happened 7 times in the 9 months I ve lived here. Don t expect much from the leasing staff, their friendly and are very helpful before you move in but after that IF you get them to answer the phone they don t return your call, so you have to go into the office but you don t need them that often so that hasn t been a huge problem. The maintenance staff is fast enough but out of the 5 times we have needed them this year 3 times we ve had to call them back because they either never came or didn t complete all the things we needed.

On the plus side the apartments are beautiful; brand new black appliances, new carpet and hardwood floors. The landscaping here is gorgeous the flowers are changed seasonally and the lawns are kept very nice. There is also plenty of grass to walk my dogs and let them play. Probably the best thing is all of the neighbors are really friendly I ve never known as many neighbors as I have known here. The parking by my unit is amazing although I would check by your unit before you sign a lease because I ve noticed a few other buildings look a little tough to find a spot.

So all in all if you luck into quiet neighbors and you don t need anybody who works here too often it s not such a bad place to live.
