I live here with my husband and my son. We have lived here almost a year and we are up for renewal. The layouts are good, but nothing else is. I went to the office and told them I was moving as soon as I could get out. I even wanted to know the reletting fee. The leasing agent then offered to upgrade me to a larger apartment (1100 sq ft.) for a really good rate. It was a bigger apartment than I had found so far, however, I would not live here for another year if they gave me that apartment for free!!! The maintenance men will come to your apartment, but they never actually fix the problems you report. The maintenance guarantee is a joke!!! Everything falls apart. We have had our toilet leak out of the fosset, the closet doors fall off, the washer and dryer connections are outside on your patio and they leaked into my son's room, then began to mold and it took them a week to get it fixed. The storage doors on the patio do not close all of the way. The air vent in the ceiling actually fell on my husband and sliced his foot open!! I can actually hear my upstairs neighbor peeing in the bathroom (the walls are honestly that thin), the washer and dryer that is in the building for you and all of your neighbors to use doesn't really work. You have to fight your neighbors for them and then you have to dry your close about three times. If you do have your own washer and dryer, you will have to lift it over your patio to get it in the apartment, because it does not fit through the patio doors. The cabinets are warping and the linoleum is peeling up. Someone was shot at, right outside of my apartment building sometime in December. The dishwasher melts all of my dishes and even caught fire to one of them. These apartments are absolutely not Las Colinas material. In fact they are barely Oak Cliff material. Spend the extra money per month and live somewhere decent.
