Nice Place, Horrible Manager

I lived at Pebblebrook for 6 months. My stay started wonderfully. I very much enjoyed the beautiful courtyard and the friendly residents. And at first, the manager seemed nice as well.
However, as time progressed, she got more and more unpleasant to deal with. I had some confusion about the way the heat worked at the apartment and was verbally berated about it on the phone. Two weeks later I had a similar experience relating to a fish tank that she had granted me permission to setup when I first moved in. I don't want to bore you with the details, but let me sum up.
She was excessively rude to me, she lied to me, and she actually asked me the question: "Why did you ever move in here in the first place'"
I am dumbfounded at her behavior. Do yourself a favor and stay clear while ------ is still in charge.

I'm ------, the Manager. From Anonymous pretty much says it all. I know this tenant - he wanted to have a number of large fish tanks in an upstairs apartment. He was told "no" and from then on he was dissatisfied - not only with me but with everything in his apartment - thus the question "Why did you move here if you thought all these things were wrong?" I'm sure he's much happier in different surroundings.

This is the original reviewer again. I had a medium sized (30 gallons) and a small (5 gallons) in the apartment. I had received specific permission to have these tanks before move in listing the specific size and volume. I was told months later after investing quite a bit of time and money into these tanks that they were never allowed in the first place. Again, the details don't matter - the core issue is the dishonesty and improper way in which I was treated.

This post is ridiculous. When you sign your lease here it specifically says "No Pets". So I highly doubt that this reviewer was given permission by anyone. He probably thought that since they were fish and not a cat or dog that it was permissible and when he was told that they werent he got upset. I hope anyone reading this review doesnt take to heart what he's saying about the manager, because she's wonderful and willing to work with you on almost anything as long as your upfront and honest with her.

Original reviewer again.... Please note that I DID get permission for the tanks before I moved in. As noted, she agreed before move in regarding the exact volume of the tanks involved.
Also, to the person "who lived below". Surely you must be mistaken because the individual who lived below carried the stand up for the 30 gallon tank while I carried up the tank itself. I suspect that you are not actually the person that lived below.
I hope the manager has cleaned up her ways. From the sound of more recent reviews, it sounds like she has.
