Rancho Mirage Apartments

On a downward slope. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/8/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   Overall the community at Rancho Mirage is acceptable on a few points. I've never had any problems with excessive noise or maintenance problems to this point so I can't complain in that respect. Unfortunatley what does annoy me is the fact that tenants from the "slum" apartments down the street come over to use the pool and rec center here. The community center has been overrun with people from the various apartments in this area. Most of the ones that come over look like gang members and ex-convicts (seriously) which is one reason why I and a few of the neighbors have stopped using the gym here after 6:00 pm. I've been told we have an on site security guard but I've been here for over a year and have never seen anyone patrol the area. The office was recently broken into and had most of the equipment stolen which speaks volumes about the security here. Initially this apartment was fine, although $100 more expensive than any of the comparable apartments in the area. I think if you live here you'll definatley agree that this place is roughly average with a much more than average price tag. My advise is to spend your money elsewhere. There are a lot of options in the area and I plan to move in November when my lease is up.
