I have lived at Rancho Mirage and agree with most of the negative comments. I have perfect credit history. Of course, I did not leave RM for non-payment of rent, but just for a better community. This post is just a a way for the management to cover the mistakes. I moved out 3 years ago, and I see that the community continues to be badly managed. It's a pity.

I totally agree with web_researcher. I am in a similar situation and can't wait for my lease to get over. The people on the management have integrity issues and often forget what they promised. The best way they try to resolve an issue is to avoid it .. good for them bad for us renters.
Cleanliness is a big issue - Dog/Cat poop everywhere, cobweb, roaches.
Construction material is very poor you know what your neighbours are talking about.
Cars are parked literally on your patio; waking up with smell of gas emmissions from these cars in the morning is very annoying.
Utility, water bills are always unclear. Electricity bills for a 2 bed room apt can run between $175 and $ 250.
Maintanance is responsive but lot of times they are clueless about how to resolve the problems.
Please look at a different option. Hope this will help you make a decision.

rancho mirage is a terrible place to live. they dont treat you like a member of the community, they treat u like a number. the managment is slacking and for the amount of rent we pay, they should do a much better job of keeping us residents satisfied. i know as soon as my lease is up ipm getting the hell out of here! i wouldn't advise anyone to move here and i wish i had looked at this forum before making my moving decesion.
