Not bad, could be better

Years at this apartment: 1996 - 2000

This complex is now called Reflections Apartments. They are no longer managed by Amli. They are now managed by LPC (or at least they were as of Sept 2000 when I left).

My apartment had troubles with Ants and Black Bees (like dirt dobbers). Over the 4 years I was there, there was a changeover from Amli to LPC. Amli was a great management company, but the complex was sold and out went the management. In stepped LPC (Lincoln Properties Corporation). Needless to say, the complex was in shambles for nearly 6-9 months while they sorted out the paperwork and personnel issues.

LPC towed my car without proper notification costing me around $150-200. The pool area (in the summer) always had unattended children in the pool. The laundry rooms were always un-airconditioned (the heat was over 100 in the summer with the dryers running). They began charging for water and included their sprinkling system in that charge (because each unit wasn't metered). So, instead of a $10 water bill, we were getting $40-$50 bills. I resented subsidising their sprinkling of the grass.

The complex has a severe problem with hornets all over. The nests are everywhere there's a nook or cranny. The parking is horrible. There were nights I had to park on the other side of the complex because there was no parking. Futher, there's no assigned parking.

The best part of this complex were the storage garages and the size of the units. The price of the apartment was great compared to what I'm paying in Silicon Valley.

I wouldn't rent from LPC again. However, I would rent from Amli. Amli is a great management company. I never had any trouble from the office staff when it was Amli. After it became LPC, it was a nightmare.
